P90x review
P90xis an excellent exercise program for advance exercisers seeking physical betterment. However with everything in life there’s always a strength and weakness. The program fail to address the concept of progressive resistance. Not every one embarking on the P90x program will be at the same health/fitness level. Some folks may be complete newbies to exercise yet P90x fail to address their needs. You gotta crawl before you can walk to avoid the “too much too soon” syndrome to prevent future injuries and keep motivation ongoing.
The program’s effectiveness stem from the implementation of functional exercises (core) which challenge the body from head to toe leaving no parts untouch. It emphasize movements that correlate to real life activities. In the real world we step, push, bend, twist, lift, run and move laterally which involve a complexity of muscle action. With P90x everyday activities will get easier: getting in and out of your car, going up a flight of stairs, and playing sports will all get easier as you go through the program.
If you’re at the newbie or intermediate fitness level I encourage you to get on a “pre-p90x” regimen where you perform whole-body exercises for two weeks before attempting P90x.
