“Eat this Not that” is an awesome  book and practical guide because it’s easy to decide “what to eat and not eat” with simple commands like “Eat This Not That.” With the desire to for things to be simple and easy we risk future challenges without a foundational understanding of supportive eating.

What happens if a person travel and forgot to carry Eat This Not That? Do they throw sanity to the wind and resort back to old habits? Or starve until the book is at their disposal?

I feel “Eat this not that” could serve more fitness hopefuls by addressing metabolism in greater dept, what food does, and the elements of supportive eating for complete empowerment.

Since metabolism is the speed with which our bodies process food, conceptually, every 3-3.5 hours try to ingest a lean protein, starchy carbohydrate and fibrous carbohydrates in meals free from simple sugars, bleach and refine flower and low in fats..

Example: Chicken breast, brown rice and broccoli

I hope you get the book to see where it fall short without this valuable insertion.

My intention is not to dissuade you from buying “Eat this not that” but to steer you in the right direction
